We have been loyal customers of Fat City since 2000 (for two different cars). I cannot say enough nice things about Fat City. Their staff is always curteous and they are way more knowledgable than the mechanics/staff at the dealer (Carter). They are expensive simply because maintenance for a german car is expensive. However they are often less expensive than the dealer and the service is far superior. One of the most important reasons we are loyal customers is that we feel that they are extremely honest. As a woman who doesn’t know much about cars, I used to always feel that I would be ripped off. That’s never been the case with Fat City. We had a Passat that had some bizarre problems that the dealer could not identify. Fat City spent several days running diagnositics at no charge to eventually identify the problem.
Seriously, if I were going to list the best local businesses, Fat City would be at the top of the list.
