AND condescending, too. “Business is business” is a meaningless phrase, though it can be serve as a handy excuse for corporate malfeasance. “Business is business,” sayeth BP. “Business is business,” sayeth AIG. Now, it’s true we may not know the entire story. But it sucks to lose a job, even a low-paying one, and especially before Christmas.
