Tax cuts for the rich and elite are a Repug specialty. NB, their fondness for repeal of “The Death Tax,” which affects very few people. In that case, their even embarassed some of the rich who benefit. Bill Gates Senior and others, in every state, have started rich people truth squads when “repeal the inheritance tax” movements have sprung up.
The Republican Party is the party of the rich — period. They’ve come a long way from Lincoln to “I’ve got mine f you.”
