How interesting that our company’s ad appears parallel on this page with my reply! There is a lot of info (some correct, some not so much) in the preceeding replies, so I’ll keep this brief. The first step is to identify the species you are dealing with. Control strategies vary greatly. If you are dealing with Odorous House Ants do not spray them with anything. That means raid, simple green, 409, home defense, windex or anything else that your neighbor’s uncle told you worked for him. My advice would be to use bait. Terro is okay but not the best. If that’s your only option I would recommend that you water it down at least 1 to 1. Terro has a 5% active ingredient percentage which often doesn’t allow for the ants to make it all the way back to the nest before they die.
