My firm usually buys Metro bus passes for us and just passed on this notice from http://buypass.metrokc.gov/

    PASS SALES ALERT! Updated 12-19-08

    January 2009 Passes

The January 2009 PugetPass, VanPool, Ship-to-Shore and Access Transportation passes will not be available for sale by December 15 due to a production delay. These passes are expected to be available sometime after December 23, 2008.

In the meantime, please keep your December 2008 pass. It will be accepted as valid fare payment through January 9, 2009 on Metro Transit, Community Transit, Everett Transit, Pierce Transit and Sound Transit.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we appreciate your patience.

Please watch this site for updates.

As of this morning (12/29) our firm still hasn’t received our shipment (which we would normally have received about a week ago).

    Update – from Linda:

    >>>

Metro received the passes from its vendor on Dec. 22 and had them all in the U.S. mail by Dec. 24. Employers who have not yet received them, should contact their Metro CTR (Commute Trip Reduction) rep.<<<

We got ours but the website also says that you can use your old one until Jan. 9th (I think that’s the date)

Not sure what the question is. Your current pass is good through January 9. Seems fine to me.
