Small martial arts academy looking for a part-time sales consultant who would be responsible for promoting and selling memberships to potential new members and selling renewals/upgrades to current gym members. This position is paid strictly on a commission basis, per the current commission schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Generates sales of memberships, renewals and upgrades to potential new members and existing gym members.
• Follows up on all prospects using procedures, tactics, and scripts as required by management.
• Conducts consultation appointments with prospective members, including interview, facility tour, private lesson and fitness assessment.
• Provides new members with program-specific Welcome Packet, uniform and class schedule.
• Collects and processes all new member paperwork, including Membership Consultation Form, Membership Agreement, Liability Waiver and any other documents provided by management and required of new members.
• Completes and timely submits a Sales Commission Summary for each sale made.
• Maintains a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of WSFF’s pricing and promotion schedule.
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of WSFF’s history, background, philosophy, facilities, staff and policies.
• Attend all sales training.
• Maintain neat appearance and wear proper WSFF attire.
• Attend all mandatory staff meetings.
• Comply with all provisions of the WSFF Employee Manual.
• Perform other related duties as required.
Special requirements:
Have an interest in martial arts and fitness.
Must attend at least 2 martial arts classes a week at West Seattle Fight and Fitness. Free membership provided upon hire.
21+ athletic and active
Must have sales personality and experience.
